Akshay Kumar has demand a whopping amount of Rs 27 crore to play the role of underworld goon Dawood Ibrahim in the sequel to ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’. Balaji is keen to make a sequel to the film and Ekta Kapoor has approached Akshay Kumar to play the lead role but hearing his demand, she was stunned.Confirming the news a source said, “Ekta wants to take the sequel of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai to the next level. She felt that Akshay would be ideal for playing Dawood Ibrahim’s role. She likes the way Akshay acts and feels that he has a lot of potential for playing challenging roles.” He has been asked to step into Emraan Hashmi’s role.
Akki was reasoned that if he was paid so huge amount, it would be impossible for them to generate profit. Hence, Balaji has asked Akshay to lesser down the amount. The actor is in huge demand now and considering his star value, he is not likely to lesser his price.
Let’s see whether Balaji ropes Akshay or look for some other hero.
